The MVPs

Greta "G": Greta is a two year old English Springer Spaniel. She used to be an emotional support animal for my students. Now, she guards our backyard chickens. Greta enjoys snuggles and being outside all day. She'll do anything for Starbucks...

Captain Jack: Jack is a year old Australian Shepherd. He's all fun and loves to learn. Thanks to a student, he was completely trained by twelve weeks. Captain Jack enjoys car rides and boats. He, currently, is living up the life of a puppy...

Jasmine "JazzyFresh": Jasmine is a nine year old German Shepherd. She was left on our porch when she was a few months old. She is the most patient dog I have ever met. We've fostered over three hundred dogs, and she has helped with them all. From puppies biting her ears and hanging from her tail to older dogs who needed some confidence. She is my right hand man when I'm working. If I'm sitting at my computer writing, she is right there with me.

Rocko: Rocko is a thirteen year old Australian Shepherd/Chow mix. She was dumped behind a pet store with her brother. She is a worker. The first thing she does when she goes out in the morning is check the perimeter of the yard. She loves to go for walks and loves snacks a little too much...
Ella "Cutie Pie": Ella is about nineteen years old. We found her as a stray when I was in high school. She is the ruler of the pack. She spends her days sleeping in a king sized bed, while being delivered snacks...

Pandora and GusGus: Pandora was the cat who lived in our barn. One day, she decided to come in and have kittens in our bathroom. GusGus was the only one who didn't find a home. Now, Pandora lives the life of luxury by sleeping on the couch. All while, Gus runs around the house terrorizing the dogs...

The Mother Cluckers: When I moved back from teaching on a farm, I moved back in with my parents. I missed the farm life. I convinced my mom to let me get some chickens. They turned into mostly her chickens; I'm pretty sure she loves them more than me. They're my hint of farm until I own my own land someday. We, currently, have seven hens and five chicks...
